Whenever someone would ask Louie Lapat who he is, his quick reply would be like this: I'm a writer who loves to travel and take photographs.
Louie Bryan M. Lapat is a writer, blogger and amateur photographer based in Tagum City—the place which prides itself as the Palm City of the Philippines, the Music Capital of the South, the City of Parks and the Home of Festivals. He is presently connected to Tagum City Information Office as a writer covering special events by the city government.
Louie is in his early twenties. He likes books and food. For him, the best part about the Internet is that it’s a place for people to share their interests, no matter how quirky those people and those interests might be.
His passion for travel started in the dusty library of the University of Southeastern Philippines when during his free time, he and his bestfriend Zyzle would spend the whole afternoon browsing through the pages of travel books. It was a dream he wanted to fulfill. Louie started traveling at the age of 13, reaching as far as the picturesque Laguna. He’s been to many places in the country but he can only sigh that these travels are not properly documented.
Hence, the birth of this blog. Louie envisions to chronicle each time he explore the Philippines—from its many unexplored yet wonderful places to its mouth-watering delicacies.
Tara bai! Byahe ta!
